June 8, 2014 – Good News Reflections

June 8, 2014

Dear Praying Friends,

We really enjoyed our time of ministry at Faith Baptist Church, in Charlottesville, VA. It was awesome to see many of the neighborhood young people attend each evening (for many of them, it was their first time being at Faith Baptist). There were no decisions for Christ that we know of, but we felt God working in hearts all week long. Please pray for Faith Baptist as they continue to reach out to these precious young people.

Upcoming Meetings
This morning, we will begin a Family Crusade at one of our supporting Churches, Way of the Cross Baptist Church, in McDonough, GA. We are excited to see how God will work in hearts this week.

The next week (June 15-19) we will be in Tuscaloosa, AL at Bible Baptist Church. We look forward to our time with Pastor Falls and his dear family. We met them a few years ago, while ministering together at the BIMI Central American Mission’s Conference.

The next two weeks we will be at our home Church, Fairview Baptist Church, in Athens, TN. The first week (June 22-26) we will be doing a Children’s Crusade, and the second week (June 30-July 4) we will be ministering at Camp Fairview. There are still a few openings for that week at Camp Fairview. For more information, call Alex Newton at: (423) 368-6170.

Please pray for all of these upcoming meetings that God will work in hearts and that many will make decisions for Christ.

Update on Susan
Many have asked how Susan in doing, and we are thankful that she is regaining her strength. Her pain remains the same, but God is helping her to cope with the constant pain. Also, her voice is almost completely healed, but tends to struggle when she speaks or sings for an extended period of time. We appreciate your continued prayers for her.

With us being home much of the spring (while Susan has been recuperating), our income has been drastically reduced during this time. We appreciate those who have given to us and our ministry – God has used you to meet some very pressing needs. It is indeed God, who provides through the generous giving of His people.

There are those who have asked if they can donate to our ministry online – we now have a way, through our web site. Just go to: The Vermaas Family and click on the “Donate” button. Thanks again for considering us in your monthly giving.

Reaching Families for Him,

Tim, Susan, and Rachel Vermaas
