Dear Praying Friends,
Our time at home was both productive and refreshing. Tim was able to get a lot of projects accomplished – as well as spending some time helping in the completion of a cabin at Camp Fairview (for one of our associate pastors). We also enjoyed getting to minister for elementary chapel at Fairview Christian Academy.
Rachel was able to join our FCA teenagers on a trip to The Wilds, in Brevard, NC. Needless to say, she had a blast. The Wilds is an amazing place!
Susan’s time has been very focused on taking care of her family and the many things that need to be done to close down her parent’s estate. In fact, we are currently in Clarksville, TN going through all of Mom and Dad’s things – many of which have been in storage for almost 6 years (since we moved Mom into Assisted Living). As you can imagine, it has been a slow and tedious job! It’s hard going through your parent’s things, and the countless memories that flood your mind. Those of you, who have been down this road, know the difficulty of this time. Please pray for strength, both physical and emotional. We are hoping to have everything divided up among the six siblings within the next two weeks.
We are so thankful to Bible Baptist Church (here in Clarksville), for allowing us to hook-up our 5th Wheel on their property, while we are working with Mom and Dad’s things. They have been such a blessing to us during this time. We are looking forward to ministering with them on this coming Wednesday evening, October 15th.
November 6-8, we will be teaching at the Loving and Leading Children’s Conference hosted by First Baptist Church, in Milford, OH. Master Ministries is a wonderful discipleship program, and they do a fantastic conference every year. We look forward to seeing many of you there. We will be teaching sessions on: Visuals, Ventriloquism, Safeguarding Your Church, Reaching the Hurting Child, and Juggling.
The next weekend (November 13-15) we will be at the Music City Fellowship of Christian Magicians, in Nashville, TN. We will be teaching sessions on Puppetry, Ventriloquism, Juggling, and Gospel Illusions (as well as having a part in the Friday evening program). We are looking forward to a great conference.
We praise God for the opportunities He has given us to minister for Him. Pray with us that God would open many more doors of ministry yet this year.
