Dear Praying Friends,

Riverside Baptist Church

We are on our way to Riverside Baptist Church, in Clarington, OH.  Riverside is where Rachel was so sick last year with Strep, Pneumonia, and Mycoplasma, (all at the same time) and had to be ICU ambulanced 2 hours to Columbus, OH. Tim preached a Family Crusade, while his family was in Children’s Hospital all week. We’re excited about ministering at Riverside – this time with the whole family.  Please pray that God works in hearts and that many will make decisions for Christ this week.

First Baptist Church

We had a great time of ministry this past week at First Baptist Church, in Bremen, IN.  It was good to see everyone again!  By Thursday evening there were a total of 72 visitors who attended the meetings.  We praise God for the 3 young people who came to accept Christ as their personal Savior! Six year old, Nathan, prayed to ask Jesus to save him as Brother Tim was preaching. Many times, a person has already accepted Christ into their hearts before they ever come forward to pray with someone. It’s so precious to hear the different testimonies of those who have accepted Christ!

God’s Amazing Provision

“Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,”  Ephesians 3:20

Earlier this year, we had to replace the Landing Gear on our 5th wheel (the legs that support the front of the trailer).  A couple of weeks before the Landing Gear broke; we received a gift from First Baptist Church, in Bremen, IN, that we thought was a lump sum for the year, of their monthly support.  It came just in time to cover the cost of the Landing Gear.

Here is the REST of that story . . .

This last week, we found out that the extra gift was not monthly support at all.  God had burdened the heart of a family at First Baptist to send us an anonymous gift.  So, this gift was over and above the funds that First Baptist usually sends for our monthly support. Many times we see such a small part of God’s plan and workings in our lives.  It’s neat when more of His plan is revealed.  Heaven will be awesome for many reasons, but one thing we are looking forward to is seeing all of the different ways God worked in our lives and we didn’t even realize it.

Back in February of this year, God burdened the heart of a friend from High School to send us a special gift (we haven’t seen him in many years).  God used his gift to provide for our stay at the Mayo Clinic and for our trip to Waterloo, IA and Nebraska for Tim’s Mom’s funeral.  We stand in awe of God’s Faithfulness to us. Over and over again, He has provided in ways we could have never imagined.  How awesome it is to watch God provide for our needs!

 Prayer Warriors

Another blessing at First Baptist Church happened on Thursday night.  All through the week people communicated that they have been praying for us. On Thursday evening, one of the older men in the Church (94 years old), called a special prayer meeting before the services, to pray specifically for Susan’s health.  It was so touching to hear these dear people go to the Father on her behalf.  It blesses our hearts to KNOW that people are “holding our arms up” as we minister across this country.  We have requested that people commit to pray for us on a regular basis.  Since we began requesting prayer support, 138 people have signed-up to pray for us on a regular basis through their daily prayer time with the Lord.  If you are not on our “Prayer Warrior” list, but would like to be, please click on:
