Dear Praying Friends,
Southland Missionary Baptist Church
We really enjoyed our time of fellowship and ministry this past week at Southland Missionary Baptist Church, in Cincinnati, OH.  The Church was full every night, and by the end of the week there were 75 visitors who came to the meetings.  It was awesome to see the excitement of the people to bring their friends. We praise God for the 7 young people who came to accept Jesus as their Savior!  It was stirring to see the hunger of these young people for attention and genuine friendship.  Please pray for Southland as they follow-up with those who attended the meetings.
As we were getting ready to leave this morning for IL, Pastor Love and his wife, Tammy, handed Rachel an envelope and communicated to her, how much they appreciated her part in our ministry.  When Rachel opened the envelope, she saw a gift for her from the Church.  She was so shocked, that she didn’t quite know what to say.  When we looked back at Pastor, his eyes were welled-up with tears.  It was a precious moment that we will never forget!  Pastor Love was an MK (Missionary Kid) and a PK (Preacher’s Kid), so he knows firsthand how it is to be on the road.  They were such an encouragement to us this week – we were refreshed to have been with our friends at Southland Missionary Baptist Church!
While Rachel was doing her “Spelling” class this week, she had to write a sentence using the word, “Substitute.” It was so profound, that we just had to include it with this update.

First Baptist Church
When we were at First Baptist Church, in Bremen, IN last month, a dear lady took Rachel aside and expressed to her how much her ministry, and her sweet spirit meant to her (she also gave Rachel a gift to encourage her).  Isn’t it awesome that God knows just when we need that little hug from Him!
Rachel is a big part of our ministry.  She helps with setting-up the equipment, as well as singing with us each night.  Before the Creation message on Wednesday evening, Rachel sings a special entitled, “That Didn’t Happen By Chance.”  God is really using her, and we are thankful for how much she has added to our ministry.
Calvary Baptist Church
We are presently at Calvary Baptist Church, in Gays, IL.  We will be ministering in their Children’s Church on Sunday morning, and then with everyone on Sunday evening.  Pray with us that God will work in hearts and that many will be drawn to Him.
Central Baptist Church
On Monday, we plan to head to Clarksville, TN where we will be taking Susan’s Mom to some Doctor’s appointments.  Then on Thursday, we will begin our trip to Victoria, VA where we will begin a Family Crusade on that next Sunday (August 18th), at Central Baptist Church.  We’re excited to see what God is going to do in hearts.
It could have blown at any time today
We so appreciate your faithful prayers for us!  When we pulled-up at the Church (here in IL), Tim noticed 2 “goose eggs” in one of our rear, trailer tires.  He is very careful to pre-trip the truck and trailer before every trip, and the “goose eggs” were not there this morning.  It could have blown at any time today.  We praise God for getting us to IL safely and that we saw it before getting back on the road.  What an Awesome God we serve!!!
Reaching Families for Him,
