April 5, 2015 – Good News Reflections

Dear Praying Friends,

Christ the Lord is Risen today!  Hallelujah!

What a joy it is to celebrate the resurrection of our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.  That Sunday morning changed everything!  The Son of God laid down His life as the payment in full for our sin, and He arose the third day – defeating death and the grave.

Because HE lives, we can face tomorrow, and all eternity!

Last Sunday we had the privilege of visiting two of our supporting Churches in Trenton, GA.  Sunday morning (while at Piney Grove Baptist Church) we gave a ministry update during the Sunday school hour, and Tim preached (and Susan did Dusty) during the morning service.  On Sunday night (at Calvary Baptist Church) we again gave a ministry update, and – of course – Dusty had to come out again to say “howdy”.

Both of these Churches have been supporting our ministry for many years, and we enjoyed the opportunity to thank them for their prayers and faithful support.  We also enjoyed a wonderful time of fellowship with dear friends following both the morning and evening services.

This morning we had the privilege of doing a special Easter Children’s Church at Fairview Baptist Church (our home church) in Athens, TN, and were able to partake in the Lord’s Supper tonight.  What a great ending to a wonderful day!

Over the next few weeks, we will be ministering in several more of our supporting Churches (as well as a couple of new Churches) before we start our busy summer schedule.

It has been so awesome to watch God provide for our needs, especially during this time of year.  As a family, we have been praying about a particular need.  Our faith was increased once again, as we got to experience God’s provision this past week.  We also needed the funds to pick-up some medicine for Susan tonight.  Praise God! – He provided for that as well.  We serve such an Awesome, Faithful God!!!

We are grateful for your prayers for us and this ministry.

Reaching Families for Him,

Tim, Susan, and Rachel Vermaas
