Dear Praying Friends,
We had a wonderful time of ministry this past week at Faith Baptist Church, in Charlottesville, VA! They did a great job of canvassing the area and inviting people to come to the meetings. By the end of the week they brought a total of 33 visitors, and three precious young people placed their trust in Jesus as their Savior! Praise God for working in hearts!
Pastor Raye Jones posted this on Face Book this past Wednesday:
“Let me introduce you to Kivi (8 years old) who was out playing with friends yesterday when a postman delivering mail invited them to VBS at Faith Baptist Church. Kivi and her friends came last night to VBS and Kivi came forward at the invitation, talked to my wife, Yvonne, and put her faith/trust in Christ. That postman is my son-in-law, Nate. He made an eternal delivery, no return yesterday! Feel a little fire burning!! Great VBS with Tim and Susan Vermaas.”
We are currently on our way from Charlottesville, VA to Olney, IL, where we will begin a Family Crusade on Sunday, at Bible Fellowship Church. We have ministered with these dear people for many years and pray that God will use us to be an encouragement and that souls will be saved.
Thank you for partnering with us through your faithful prayers and financial support! Your support enables us to travel full-time sharing the Gospel across this country (we’ll travel today through VA, WV, KY, IN, and IL).
May God bless you for your faithful prayers for us!
Tim, Susan, and Rachel Vermaas
On Sunday morning, we had the privilege of hearing Ms. Kathy and Ms. Mary Ann sing, “How Great Thou Art.” Both of them are legally blind, and one of them sang while reading Braille. It was precious!
Below are some scenic views we saw while in Virginia this week.
Rachel found these little critters in our front yard at Camp Fairview, just before we left on our trip to Virginia. Can you figure out what they are?
