Dear Praying Friends,
What an awesome time of ministry we had this week at South Webster Baptist Church, in South Webster, OH! The meetings were well attended, and there were a total of 60 visitors who came throughout the week.
On Tuesday evening, 11 year old James came to Pastor Travis, (just before the start of the service) and told him that he wanted to ask Jesus to save him. Pastor asked Susan to join them, as he asked James what he wanted to pray about. James said, “I want to ask Jesus to forgive me of my sins, just in case I forget and end-up going to Hell one day.” He was so sincere as he prayed to ask Jesus to save him.
During the invitation time (that same evening), 10 year old Riley came forward and asked Jesus to save him as well. When Riley returned home, his sister noticed that he was crying. When she asked him why he was crying, he said, “I’m just so glad that I did what I did tonight.” What a joy to see these two precious young people come to give their lives to Christ! Please pray for them that they will grow in their faith!
Riley is the young man in the black shirt, helping Brother Tim with the illusion; and James is the young man looking down at his Bible.
Vehicle Update
As we mentioned last week, the truck broke down in the church parking lot, right after disconnecting from the trailer on Friday night. We are so thankful for God’s Faithful protection – because the breakdown could have easily happened at any point on the windy, hilly Kentucky terrain (we lost both power steering and power brakes). Safety is indeed of the Lord!
God really blessed with the repairs – and we praise Him for how He provided for both a mechanic to do the work, as well as the funds to pay for it. A man in the church (who owns an auto repair shop) spent many hours doing a number of repairs (as well as some needed maintenance). He was such a blessing!
Today, August 1st, is our 28th wedding anniversary! We are thrilled that God allows us to serve Him together as a team. We are in our 23rd year of ministry with Good News for Little People. Wow! How time has flown! There’s nothing in all the world we’d rather be doing than serving our Savior together. What a joy!
On the Funny Side
The four and five year old class was learning Philippians 4:19 this week. When five year old, Chelsea quoted her verse, she said, “My God shall supply all my knees” – while placing her hands on both of her knees. How cute!
We are at Riverside Baptist Church, in Clarington, OH this week, and are excited to see how God will work in hearts! Please continue to pray for souls to be saved!

We saw this mini tow truck on our way to South Webster, OH – and just had to get a picture.
