Dear Praying Friends,
On this past Sunday, we had the privilege of ministering at Knobs Baptist Church, in Tower Hill, IL. We are thankful to Knobs for their many years of faithful support. They have been such an encouragement to us! It was good to fellowship with Pastor Randy Miller and his wife, Mildred. We went to College together and have appreciated their friendship over the years. When we were packing-up to leave for Mattoon, IL, we noticed that one of our trailer tires was flat. After taking the tire to a wheel shop, we found out that the tire was fine, but a weld had broken on the wheel. We are thankful that we were not traveling down the road at the time, and that we were able to replace the wheel before leaving this morning for Missouri. God is so Faithful to keep us safe in our travels.
Our time at Bible Baptist Church, in Mattoon, IL was such a blessing. It was good to see Pastor Ryan Hayden and his wife, Amanda and their precious children (Audrey, Molly, and baby Noah)! Brother Ryan was the Children’s Pastor at our home Church (Fairview Baptist) for several years. They are doing a great work and God is really using them in the Mattoon area.
It was also good to see Donna Dixon and her children, Emily, Isabel, and Andrew. They drove 2 ½ hours to Mattoon to visit with us and the Hayden’s. They are also from our home Church. We had a sweet time of fellowship together.
We are on our way to Southside Baptist Church, in Kirksville, MO. On Friday and Saturday we will be doing Teacher Training and a Youth Rally. From Sunday through Thursday we are doing a Family Crusade. Please pray with us that God will work in hearts and that people will respond to the Gospel.
